About the role
We seek a talented and confident horticulturalist to help install and maintain the beautiful gardens we design. The part-time or full-time role mainly focuses on all aspects of soft landscape planting work, whether in already constructed gardens or planting up our range of pots on balconies and rooftops. In addition to this, the role involves maintaining these gardens as they establish and grow to their full potential.
The role requires experience working in gardens; plant knowledge and an understanding of various landscape applications, including irrigation, turfing, soil preparation, and overall plant health are preferred.
Key duties and responsibilities:
All aspects of planting work in high-end residential gardens:
– Work as part of a team installing and maintaining beautiful gardens
– Provide exceptional client service at all times
– Liaise and communicate with our installation manager and in-house designers
– Work alongside landscape construction contractors
– Work effectively as a member of a high-performing team
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
– Broad experience in all aspects of planting, soil works, and garden maintenance including pest and disease control
– A keen eye for detail and an attitude of caring for clients and their gardens
– Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
– Enjoy working within a small team and autonomously
– Current NSW Driver’s License, including class C manual
– A good level of physical fitness
