Garden Life is proud to announce the launch of a collaboration with renowned Australian designer Adam Goodrum. The Coil Collection comprises five ribbed terracotta planters in two profiles. Crafted by a family of artisan makers in Marrakesh, Morocco, each pot is hand-built on a foot wheel below ground level, a truly ancient technique developed and unchanged over millennia. The pots are thrown and formed over the course of several weeks and each is one-of-a-kind. For those who don’t know Adam, he’s one of Australia’s preeminent industrial designers working across the disciplines of sculpture, furniture and product design. Inspiration for the collection stemmed from Adam’s childhood experiences with ceramics and later, his travels to Morocco where he first saw the iconic coiled baskets in the open-air souks. The Coil Collection is exclusive to Garden Life and is now available at our showroom in St Peters and via our website.
