Gardening is not cancelled*⁠ ⁠ We are open as usual every day at Garden Life, with precautions in place, of course. Lots of us will be staying home however. After we’ve Googled the entire internet, binge watched everything on Netflix (and Stan), read all the books that have sat dormant and dusty on our shelves, we’ll be left staring at each other, wondering what to do.⁠ ⁠ Garden.⁠ ⁠ If you’re lucky enough to have a garden, courtyard or balcony, you’ll have plenty of room to isolate outdoors. Immerse yourself in nature, get your hands in the soil, get the sun on your face. Rake the autumn leaves, sweep the drive, clip, prune, tidy and tend to your garden and pots. It’s meditative, restorative and will get your mind off worldly worries, at least for a little while.⁠ ⁠ If you don’t have an outdoor area, you can make your home an indoor jungle. Plants oxygenate and purify the air, beautify spaces and keep us in touch with nature, which is more important than ever. Use this time to re-pot and re-arrange, or get started on a herb garden, so you have fresh herbs on hand.⁠ ⁠ *original credit to @garden_therapy ⁠
